i trade them - sometimes (specially during news) they have larger spikes then currency - this can be your advantage bc in 10sec you can make lots $$$ (well only if you are on the correct side ...)


suggestion:
2min before news put an oco sell order 80-100 pips above, and buy order 80-100 pips below the current price

if there is a fill you close immediately on the retracement

specially on /DX it work quite well bc is rare that it take a direction and continues

Nope..stargate...never have traded them...not sure if thats factual tho...Australian dollar futures hit a record today in spite of plenty of technical reasons to correct down first.IOW it hasnt "earned" its way up yet..just a magic hand driving it and making charts worthless for the near term.
