This is difficult to believe ... at half a gramme it takes 62,206 kilos of ore to collect one fine ounce of gold - that's a lot of material to dig out and move, let alone process and then deal with piling up the tails out of the way .... even if you got local labour virtually free for a while, nobody gives diesel fuel away, or equipment, or parts for that equipment ... i'd be curious as to just what they're calling 'cash costs' here .... regular mining companies tend to conform to recognised convention in this regard, for clarity
