janice: The rules are for everyone and if Scottrade does not have errors and omissions then they are closed up and or taken over. Scottrade is a private company so we cannot look at their financials but hopefully the regulators have. Hundreds of banks are being shuttered and I suspect we will see a few brokerage firms closed as well the way things are going.
