I hear ya, and agree, i was just making a point that the reason the big boxes are not buying the logs could be simpler.

I TIVO'd it(Dillon Ratigan) but he was not the host and it was about the middle east? Must have seen the ad wrong? or got the day wrong, but he is doing a special on Green Energy, maybe next week.

Hey Hedge, do you think the entiry that China Gate represents have a name for the grass, or for the seedling of under 20,000 count they can sell?

I wonder if it is called VA-06

"The duo collected grass species and the resulting VA06 is a mixture of duoi soi (wolf's tail) grass from LatinAmerica and Vietnamese voi (elephant) grass."

Ha Tay Agriculture and Rural Development Department deputy director Nguyen Huy Dang says: "One hectare of VA06grass yields an average of 1,000 tonnes a year. The figure can double with intensive cultivation." "Farmerscall it the sugar grass VA06," he says "and this year Ha Tay plans to increase sowing to 800 ha." Thefigures Other grasses grown in Vietnamyield about 50-100 tonnes per ha.

But for well-tended VA06 grass grown in far-from-ideal soil, the yield ranges from 400-500 tonnes.

It means one ha can feed from 40-50 dairy cows.
