LJ promoting the tea is great but doesn't do well when it isn't available. Do you think anyone listening to LJ's interview is going to continually look for the tea and ask for it? To me, no. People will forget about it and LJ will need to do another round of "promoting" himself just to get to mention the tea for 10 seconds and tell you it will be "everywhere" yet not know when it will be "everywhere"

Hype is what is happening. Of course. It is the prong that plugs the market back into LJ. If you are a Vendor or a Distribution team with Sales guys about to go out and tout a celebrity endorsed product would you not want to see him out and about? Interviews, blog interviews, Radio appearances and the like?

Is this a calculated plan to bang out more deals to get Tea on the shelves of grocery shelves? IMO it is. LJ was nowhere to be seen 2 years ago. I asked where he was and got a mixed bag of clues to why and how it was not going to be his "cup of tea". Now he is back in the mix.

That can be hyped for sure. Hype the celebrity. Hype the product. Hype the stock. Hype the sales.

Sometimes people need to see the hype for what it is...marketing.
