Starboy, that is correct for those like me that use Scottrade. Stop losses aren't wise to use on any BB stock or AMEX stock because the MM's will just go down and get them. It happened to me on the AMEX. I put a stop loss on a stock (KRY) I was making a lot of money on and wanted to protect my profits. I put the stop loss at 20% below the days close. The next day when I came home from work I saw my stop loss was taken out. The chart showed one thin line straight down and back up, and then close right around the previous day's close. I've heard other stories just like mine.
