If right-wingers were true to their word in their self-acclaimed love for the constitution, they would be the biggest donors to the ACLU. The ACLU is dedicated to protecting and extending the liberties guaranteed all citizens in the constitution, but the right-wing believes that to protect its own liberties, it must deny them to others. In the process, they limit their own freedoms and don't even know it. They are actually proud of it.

I like the ACLU and people who really understand and support our Constitution should as well. Unfortunately many people who think they are patriotic would have supported the Tory's in the Revolution - so much for their Patriotism.

As for Libertarians being extreme conservatives I disagree. The extreme conservatives are the social conservatives as they have been keeping individual progress back for years. They are the religious right who can't think for themselves and need someone to tell them how to think and what is right and wrong.

A libertarian can discuss things and does not take things on faith.
