Other companies, like Cisco, simply never deserved the market abuse they’ve taken. The bottom line is that the Internet is still growing and Cisco is still what most people want to grow it on.

One particular market phenomenon that seems to happen with a great degree of consistency is this; if the market tanks on options expiration Friday it will rise the following Monday.
Just the opposite is true of an options Friday, which ends with a rally, the following Monday normally tanks. Last Friday it tanked.
I think that you already know this but the people who participate on this thread are "traders" who trade the short-term trends. If the DOW goes to 7000 or 5000 really doesn’t matter as long as it does it with relief rallies along the way.
