Rates are too low historically. Deflation is worse and that's where we are headed with low rates. I believe it also helps stabilize the U$D. That and the Fed needs to pop the bubble, wealth effect will not be allowed (via stock market, real estate, whatever... The little guy must remain under the man's thumb).
