dirtydave- I feel that Eric is being paid at the low end of what an average CEO makes. Attached is a copy/paste of an article that addresses this very topic. The value of a company or profit level of its products and services can be a reason for much higher CEO pay bases. In 2009, the CEO of Exxon Mobil Corp. was given a base salary of $2.06 million (Marketwatch.com Dec 2010)."
