Unreliable equipment: yeah, nothing new there. It'll probably translate over time into more services revenue for INVN. Of course, another thing to consider with the stock at this point is that it's being sold just because it's being sold. Nobody wants to be a bagholder, even if they believe in the fundamentals, so right now the technical damage on the charts could be enough to drive shareholders out of the stock.
It sounds like that analyst should have spoken up eight weeks ago -- of course, eight weeks ago he was doubtless telling the world to buy defense and dump semis. It might make sense to sell the war and buy a chip recovery ahead of the news, but it would have made a lot more sense to sell the war before defense stocks collapsed and to buy the chip recovery before the SOX advanced 85 percent!
