(OTCBB:SMDI), a live entertainment company, announced today that The Mentor Group, Inc., a premier national appraisal and valuation company, has completed a valuation that determined that the controlling, marketable equity value of Stratus Media Group at December 31, 2010 was $85.0 million to $89.5 million, as an on-going business.

“It is a pleasure to share this valuation with our shareholders,” said Paul Feller, President of Stratus. “We have long believed that the market has undervalued the earnings capacity from our portfolio of events and operations. The results of this valuation support our belief, with a valuation equivalent to $1.31 to $1.38 per share.”
