That is the thing about ancient history, it is only "ancient" if you want to disregard it as instructive. In this case the character of TEVA is clearly ascertained. This was one of many confident statements by TEVA, with nothing backing them up at all but hot air, that TEVA made and continued to make, until, coincidentally, MNTA sued them.
Shockingly, TEVA shut up, and TEVA had legal counsel at their very next investor presentation, cited by name and actually at the podium or part of the presentation. To which I commented, absent a company like RMBS, I had never before seen legal counsel garner such credit or play such a prime role in an investor presentation.
