http://www.patentdocs.org/articles_cases_definiteness/

you can research all you want on markman ruling, patent cases on indefiniteness, obviousness, inequitable conduct, etc . Above link i selected label indefiniteness

if momenta has a stronger case after the markman ruling, i wouldnt rule out a settlement...But there will be a lot of posturing (each one claiming "we have a strong case to win the trial") before either the trial or a settlement

one type of settlement could be monetary payout and momenta agrees not to launch until maybe 2014 or 2013

i wish we had somebody knowledgable about patent law that can understand the claim construction each one of em, and argue the merits of definiteness or indefiniteness for each one of em

With a favorable Markman ruling, will there be a substantial move in the stock price?

Not necessarily. Unlike the Copaxone trial per se, a ruling on the Markman hearing is not a win/lose binary outcome but rather has shades of gray. Moreover, there’s no assurance that the Judge will even issue a Markman ruling prior to the start of the trial.
