#197 RE: LORTAP KCOTS #196

I am confident that this is a diversified investment, with a focus on emerging market income, AOD targets high dividend payers, AOD buys and sell stocks to get the dividend, it then pays nearly 100% of the dividend back to shareholders. Yes it's hard to trade the dividend and come out on top every time, so when you do analysis it looks like simply return of capital (ponzi style) And the reason for this is because NOBODY ELSE COLLECTS INCOME IN THIS METHOD But when you look at the components and dissect the strategy that AOD employs you see that it is not return of capital, but indeed Dividend capture and rotation. Believe whatever you want, I'm confident the funds holdings are safe diversified and we are trading at at discount to Net Asset Value (NAV)

THIS IS FROM THE FUNDS WEBPAGE: Strategy IV: Paired Rotation Strategy
The Fund’s paired rotation strategy pairs similar stocks and captures multiple dividends per year versus four quarterly dividends.

Traditionally, investors buy a dividend paying security and hold it over the course of twelve months, “capturing” four quarterly dividends. Alpine’s dynamic approach to dividend investing will endeavor to capture more dividend payments with the same investment capital by “rotating” between securities with similar characteristics throughout the same twelve months.
