The company's PR sure wanted you to think he worked directly for those companies, and don't you think that someone so "hands on for 15 years" would be known by the companies he's "marketing" for? I mean to market for Werther's Storck or Snapple or any of the others, don't you think someone at one of those companies would have met him at least 1 time to go over something? I notice that the PR covered some key areas.
1. It named well known companies that will get everyone excited. Oddly a phone call to each of these companies and no one has heard of him. He helped them increase sales in excess of hundreds of millions and they don't even know the man who brought them so much success... wow! I am sure they'd love to meet him to shake his hand.
2. The PR eluded to the fact that Thomas Love had a hand in increasing sales in excess of hundreds of millions. (this is what HFBG shareholders want to hear because they need sales to happen pronto)
3. It said that Love "helped build companies into desirable investments for buyers in the industry." Well, we all know what this line was intended for... it's to make everyone excited that there is someone on board who can get HFBG ready to sell to a buyer in the industry. Again, not to beat a dead horse, but how can this Thomas Love help build companies into desirable investments for buyers, and the companies he helped make so desirable have no idea who HE is... not one single meeting? No hand shake? No opportunity to say thanks?
And, to those saying that LJ is running the company now, and LJ has taken over now, and LJ has his team in place now, let's all meet up at noon tomorrow and go to Nike and tell them we don't like the way they are doing things and we're taking over. We'll put a blurb on the company website saying we've taken over. Now, I know we don't have any shares, and we don't have a majority interest, and no voting power and no preferred shares and we're not officers... but hey that's all just semantics. Yoo Hoo McFly... you can't just walk into SOMEONE ELSE'S business and take over... and neither did LJ.
