Conference Call Preparation
Marty, thanks for bringing us to discussion of the conference call. When that happens, it will probably be a bit of a madhouse in the days leading up to the call. (I predict a mad and happy house here, and a handful of faceless unhappy houses-- one in Shanghai, one in Texas, etc., but that's a different topic).
We should discuss approach the call in the pre-storm calm (i.e. this week to have some semblance of order of how to proceed when it's more busy).
Makes sense to come to some consensus on pooling questions so they may be asked on the call by someone everyone knows and trusts. For example, say, Fernando (I believe he watches this SHO), if you are out there and are able to be on the call, would you be willing to serve as a question-presenter of sorts on behalf of many who pool questions? Another who I'm sure will make every effort to be situated to ask questions is WCTBILLS, and he too may set up a system to receive and ask questions for the shareholders.
Preferably both and maybe more, some kind of system of pooling questions might also help improve question wording issue, give shareholders more voice, and help avoid duplicate questions too.
We're interested in fair and accurate answers, not tripping anyone up on the spot.
That does not mean all questions should have to go to one person. But we don't know if there is any restricted access to participating in the call (as opposed to listening); who knows what security measure may be in place to keep a CB operative from capitalizing on a stage not their own to ask an inflammatory bogus hit-question.
As many questions as there are at present, between now and the call will be tons of information to review and undoubtedly new questions.
