Hark, LOTS of people are expecting the markets to crash too. Bears starting to get to chummy.

Me, I could care which way the markets flow. I just trade individual stocks. Much easier on the brain.

Harker, market is crashing now. F & GM will lead to a collapse in derivative prices and the battle on at Morgan Stanley, IMTO, is due to a major derivative loss not yet publicized. Oh, and that $160m that Redstone and his butt boy crooks at Comcast paid themselves is the final straw... Now you know where lots of your $34.95/mo goes.....

Hi Harker: Let the market speak, try not to anticipate what may happen, 'cause noboby knows. I'll be looking for a sharp move and massive volume before I put on any future positions. Just a thought.

Why? Why is...if the bounce indicators that have worked in the past two years are still working today we have a short term rally. Be careful relying to heavily on sentiments here, it does not reflect J6P, who sells fear and buys greed.

Agree. I think this weekend all market players are scratching their heads trying to figure out what to do next. And everyone is as confused as the next guy.

I have actually covered practicaly all my short positions last week, and started building longs for a bounce. And even thought about the reasons why there may be a rally. And as much as I want to beleive in it, I'm now coming to a conclusion that I don't.

Market will do what will surprize the most participants. And I think at this point non stop selling will probably surprize most.

I think the best way to position in this environment is to have a light, balanced portfolio with both shorts and longs, and lotsa lotsa cash. Untill there will be a definite extreme one way or another.

Weekly/monthly charts are looking scary. I think I covered my shorts waaaay too early. But I've learned the hard way not to sell short in the middle of a strong decline.
