Pro, Sorry, I did not mean to come across as I apparently did. I noticed the same name discrepancy earlier and did research on it. I noted that Kat Exploration own website states that Kat Exploration was incorporated in December , 2005 (in Canada). But the Nevada corporation of Kat Exploration, Inc was not created until the purchase of the shell cpompany Western Transitions, Inc and Kat Exploration, Inc first reported to the PinkSheets as Kat Exploration, Inc on May 12, 2009.
There are also some government reports in 2006 that show Kat Exploration staked claims on January 9 and 10, 2006. So there had to be a Canadian Corporation named Kat Exploration in existence prior to the establishment of the Nevada Kat Exploration, Inc.
