Your also missing another thing. There can be good companies with bad stocks and bad companies with good stock. The success of the company, does not dictate stock price direction. The herd does!
For that matter the success of the sector doesn't dictate success of the company. IMO to many think in to broad of terms. When trading keep it specific. Event Cramer' who is a fundamental trader, says pick best of breed. Don't expect your company to shine, just because it is in a good sector.
I don't care if oil is $1000 a barrel, the company may not deserve higher stock prices.
There are 17 companies in the AG chem sector. I picked the top 4 to play with. I have no idea where your company stands in the oil sector. The point is IMO to many think Oil related company, means success, because the price of oil is running. THIS is not the way to think. One should think time to research for sector leaders.
