Government is not doing its job of promoting the general welfare of the people. It is too busy selling itself to the highest bidder.
How can this be called even a democracy where the citizens voice is drowned out by the clamor of rich corporate interests. Such interests are not even mentioned in the constitution yet we have a government that primarily represents such interests over the interests of the citizenry.
A collection of dozen foreigners enter this country and blow up a couple of buildings and our government spends it time and energy
trying to control the American citizens instead of instituting directed policies. Then they use the bombings as a pretext to seize unwarrated power and invade a foreign oil rich country after the citizens defer to their lies. They have spoent the last year and a half trying to blame the intelligence community when they knew from the outset that Saddam had no WMD. Now we are in Iraq and the liar Wolfowitz is "man of the Year" in Israel.
It is about power, money and control and has nothing to do with the real threats to the citizenry or even the government.
Call it old fashioned Fascism, or if you want to be avant garde
a corporatocracy.
It is very real and very beneficial to the few and very harmful to the many. This particular administration has squandered Americas wealth, its pride, its courage, and its decency in its arrogant quest for suupremacy. They have lied, cheated and killed to accomplish their purposes and they should kicked out of government and jailed.
