Without looking it up - can you name the sponsor of the 20th place finisher in last week's Nationwide race?

The point is, nobody cares or remembers. Big brands sponsor cars and trucks because it's worth it (and affordable) to them to keep their already established brands as visible as possible in as many places as possible. Little businesses do it because they love to race.

The answer to the above question is Tri-Star Motorsports. I had to look it up and I am a race fan. Now you tell me what Tri-Star Motorsports is selling? It's a race team. Their only product is racing. They put their name on the car just so there's something there and because the owners think it's exciting.

Weber's claims about great exposure due to participation in NASCAR are a smoke screen. He does it because he's addicted to racing. He doesn't care about the beverage company front, it's just a tool to raise funds for racing.
