He IS hurting the republican party. I would bet my bottom $ he was the brain responsible for the Terri Schiavo fiasco that blew up in their faces and caused a 7 point drop in Bush's approval rating. He's dangerous, he's stupid and he's an admired hero within the party which tells me all I need to know about the 2005 edition of the GOP.
