Maybe you are correct, but there are a great many factors involved in increasing profit. The greatest asset is favorable recognition followed by local acceptance. Another is the drawing pool (seasonal). Attracting patrons from the surrounding resorts. The addition of more tables and slots. I look at the unused floor space at Sosua Bay and can see real expansion potential And then there is always extended business hours. I would guess we will be open from at least 4 pm to 4 am before too long at both locations. That adds to the overhead but it also increases the gross income. I have been to several of these island casinos and they usually open a limited number of activities around noon and increase availability as the crowds increase.
We seem to continually overlook the fact that Sosua Bay was never expect to hold it's own without outside support namely the online system. And until that facility is fully operational and operations are extended to the 52 participating countries we will not see any significant revenues being generated from that source. I believe the online system is operating in a limited capacity and restricted access. I really would like to get an accurate report of just where that process is in the implementation phase. It takes time to bill a following and we must constantly be improving our services otherwise client loss interest and go some place else. We must have drawing power otherwise we whither and die. The business rule is grow or close. Yes you could be right but with all we have going for us I remain an optimist. On a 24 hour basis one slot machine can pay the rent for a month. We have a slots parlor in my home town that just recently opened and they took in a gross of over one million the first two days with 1500 machines. We don't have anything that large nor do we expect to have anything like in the foreseeable future, but in our own small way we will make huge waves. Have a good day. PB
