Shareholders Of Record Shareholders whose names actually appear on the records of the corporation from which the shares are issued. As opposed to:
Street Name Ownership of shares which are held for the benefit of the shareholder in a brokerage account, and are not reflected in the shareholder's name on the records of the corporation.
