seems like the goal was under $200... from 9/10/10, "The commercial viability of an inexpensive, highly accurate diagnostic test is a strong market driven opportunity. BMOD is aiming to keep the cost of the test under $200. Given the attractive cost/benefit profile of CyPath®, it is not unrealistic to plan it will become as accepted and prevalently used as PSA, colonoscopy, mammography and PAP tests are today."
I do recall a recent radio interview saying the same thing. $200 vs. $500 times ####### tests = a whole lot cheaper.
many people have their eyes on this now. popped 40% on news of results coming by end of march. I easily see 40-50 cents as a conservative price if results are strong. then bmod can go to town with their others cancer diagnostics... if results are bad, then game over. "Their Phase 1 trial results showed 100% sensitivity and specificity, which for a diagnostic test is outstanding news. Based on statements and actions from the company, the Phase 2 results must be showing great promise to those involved." if P2 is anything like P1 we'll be having a nice day when results are out by 3/31.
