Yup, see my earlier point #3. It should surprise no one that many of the ball club promoters are developers. Speaking of local captains of the industry, they were also the ones who financed the political drive for public schools more than a century ago: as a way of having the taxpayers to pay for the training of their workers, and the politicians were all too happy to oblige: they got to brainwash the kids into cannon fodders for the upcoming 20th century big wars, right along the "Prussian Model."
