Henry Baltazar at the 451 group commented that with the market cap being so low at the 20 million level, Dataram would be a likely buyout candidate as high-availability Xcelasan proves itself in the marketplace. ("Dataram fortifies itself with high availability", Article is premium content).
They're going up against EMC and other big guns in a rapidly expanding storage market. Xcelasan has shown performance improvement at one-tenth the cost of EMC's Clarion systems. It wouldn't take much for EMC executives to buyout Dataram, spin-off the memory division and integrate Xcelasan and the storage team into their existing business
