Well, it is a fundamental aspect of penny stocks. It's the same reason big board stocks do not have promoters and why big board stock message boards are graveyards. It's also the same reason why there are so many penny stock newsletters and spam. When was the last time you got an email claiming UPS was the next great stock to own? You see, ANWM is an empty shell penny stock that nobody would ever hear of without promotional materials such as email alerts, newletters, stock promotion etc...
It is a dynamic to investing that is reserved specifically for this arena. You can drive around town and see advertisements for every major company in the U.S. Such as a FedEx truck, a Target store, a Budweiser billboard. They are selling a product or service that has a tangible value to it.
ANWM sells nothing, has no operations, is run out of a New Jersey aprtment by a single man that nobody knows anything about. All you have is promotion and promotion drives penny stocks. And, unfortunately a very real aspect to that is manipulative trading in order to artificially inflate the stock price for the benefit of those who promote them and make a living from it.
Imagine having to make a living promoting something that doesn't even exist? You have a stock symbol, ANWM. Within that symbol is a company that has no operations, no assets, and nothing of a tangible value other than the shares of stock. So, how do you make a profit off of it? Well, you hype it up to as many people as you can, organize a group to buy stock and give the appearance that the company is sought after and valuable. Then you sell your stock before the house of cards fall.
Now, the other side of the arguement is the old "but what if this is the one"? Unfortunately, as long as ANWM acts like every other penny stock out there it will never be "the one". Example: On average about 8 companies a year will move from the penny market to a legitimate exchange such as NASDAQ or the NYSE. I challenge you to name one. When you realize that you have no idea then I will ask you why those 8 stocks that did move were never the 8 hottest boards on IHUB? Makes sense right? If those companies were the most successful and "the ones" that showed their stuff and moved on, creating value and profiting shareholders, why was it that you, who follow the penny market never heard about them? And why would a website dedicated to penny stocks not ever bring them to your attention?
Are we getting somewhere yet? Because those companies got to where they are based on their business. They did not need message boards, stock promoters and email alerts. They gained access to public markets with a solid plan, they implemented that plan and they moved on without anybody ever knowing they were here. You hear about penny stocks that are promoted and pushed on IHUB and newsletters. If a company comes through here without the need for that how would you hear about them?
You are looking for "the one" in a stock promotion arena. You are looking in the wrong place for "the one". You are into penny stock promotion materials where companies that have nothing are made out to be "the one" every single day. And that reason is to help somebody make a living and not make you a wealthy man.
It's like being invited to dinner and realizing after you sit down that you were not a guest you were the main course. Good luck to you.
