OVTI reported well the last quarter. They beat estimates by .02 without extraordinary items. YoY revenue growth 77% after the prior 2 quarters growth of 25% and 50% growth. Earnings were up 250%. Growth came primarily from cell phone camera biz and digital camera CMOS chips sales. A week or so ago they announced they will be providing chips for the new Sony/Ericy cell phones and yesterday they announced that they got a design win from MOT for their cell phones and are shipping in high volume for the MOT phones. They currently provide chips for 26 separate brands of digital still cameras and I believe 6 cell phone makers with another 4-5 in trials.
