You assume a lot. I paid for all my college, all transportation from age 8, clothes from age 14, my wedding, etc. My allowance lasted for 2-weeks, and it was a quarter a week.

I was just mentioning the other day how it was never even brought up how I was going to pay for college. It was assumed at a very early age that I was going to pay.
