You know, it's not the overseas competition that's beating the hell out of my manufacturing biz. I've always been building the small quantities and telling my customers to go overseas with the large stuff.

It's the local immigrants who are mostly illegal and collecting government aid, and living 20 to a household, and filing bankruptcy every other year, while their brother starts up the same biz over again, and basically steels his equipment from the lenders because they just right it off as a loss and don't want it, and pays his people under the table, and doesn't follow any OSHA laws.....and.......


Do I sound bitter?


Nah.....they all used to work for me and got ME where I am today...........

....trading for a living. <g>


I still make a lil bit from the biz too.....:o)

Unless you are native American, your family probably immigrated to this country.

While immigrants may put pressure on some trades by offering greater supply of labor, by and large we benefit through a higher standard of living as a result of it.

If it were not for immigrants, prices in restaurants, hotels, and many service industries would be much higher. Because of immigration our dollars are stretched further and we can consume more.
