Agree, I don't think heavily indebted and almost bankrupt US government is in a position to bully Chineese at this point. Seems like a desperate move on their part.
And I can guarantee you that unless the Chinese government takes rather swift action (within 6 - 12 months), that no matter what strenghtens the resolve of the Chinese govenment that we will see a bill such as this passed and likely a much stronger one. China has to have the number debtor country to continue trade or face implosion.
