Plugger, I agree with you on your second paragraph. (I don't remember what the old and new wineskins mean. I would have to research that.) The purpose of all music, preaching, and all activities of the church should be to praise and worship God. This includes prayer and giving thanks and offerings and fellowshipping with each other. It should not be for entertainment or be like a social club. I suppose there is a very fine line between entertainment and worship.
