gregmaster,

I agree with your thoughts Greg and I think they will be doing just that. I also do not think it would be prudent to open the doors to the new plant in July after the 60 day test is complete before lifting a finger. I would assume they already know some things in the structure itself will not change and will get started on the basics and of course make any and all changes or whatever is needed as they arise. One of the problems stated long ago was getting materials from suppliers in large quantities. To start the process now doesn't seem out of line to me. Your thoughts and points are well taken, thanks...rock

Greg,

By construction they might mean gathering the supplies and personel. They have not stated as I know of that the sub frame or anything has been completed on the commercial ship. With anything tests must occur and things must work to move onto the next steps. But you have to be excited that they are trying to move foward as quickly and efficiently as possible. Seems that we are atleast a year ahead of the nearest competitor and having a much better backing.

GL All,

Chris

I could be wrong, but IMO I do not think they are actually going to be building Sanswire 2 before the launch. The PR stated they were going to begin the process. There are probably many steps to the process, before you start construction.

From the update:
"begin the process on the construction of Sanswire 2,
the 400-foot long commercial airship"

Either way, with the launch less than a month away, they could start actual construction real soon anyway:)

GTEL looking better every day, and it has looked great for a while
