Sounds a little risky dont you think.

Considering the Big Biys have the mega mega billion dollar system that would be your competition

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't American Bulls update their 'verdict' after market?
So if the candlesticks come back with 'confirmed buy', that would be nice to know if you're already in the stock, but if you use it as input for your trading order, you'll have to queue up the next morning with your order anyway.
So while I don't see any major technical challenges to accomplish a technical solution for this, unless you evaluate them on a shorter scale, it would not provide that much advantage / ease of mind.

Thanks, now I run the risk spending the rest of the day doing research on this ;-)

At first glance the issue will not be to get the data/signals in a format you can process.
I think the challenge will be in finding a broker that will allow you to put in your order in an electronic format (e.g. not through their GUI, but directly into their database through an API or something).

It might be an idea to call and ask someone in the company to send you email alerts when important news hits, but most likely they will want you to join first.
I do that for health news and a few companies actually send me alerts for free when there is news on the topics I specified.
