Intel needs to get Android enabled devices asap! This is the fastest growing non-proprietary mobile o/s and Intel's absence from the arena is causing it great mindshare/image harm ! Even Nokia are beginning to think that way now.
We will have to see the real benchmarks but A15 may just be the first ARM core that can hang with Atom in a performance POV so Intel has to be ready in the same market segments (hardware and o/s) when OMAP 5 devices are ready to push back on this potent ARM spearhead.
