Actually, Elmer, we have had a few exchanges when I was more convinced that AMD was going to pull itself up by the boot straps. I'm hopeful now that I can get a pop from the release of the BullDozer, but, I'm not naive enough any longer to believe that there can't be another Barcelona debacle. I've grown weary (beaten) from my AMD investment and would like one last glory day...
I actually have greater conviction that Intel will maintain a technical edge for the next 3-5 years, but, there are times when AMD can be played if one has impeccable timing... (I've done it once in the last 10 years, so, I'm not touting myself as anyone of great import.)
