One slight correction. There is no "active treatment......total knee postop surgeries," that use a 1mg/kg every 12 hour dose, unless there are actual DVTs or PEs. If an orthopedic surgeon elects to use enox for post-op DVT prevention in total knees it is typically either 30mg twice daily or 40mg daily.

may I make a correction? HPG is the 4th largest GPO.. Still very huge dollar volume.

The total-knee dose is 30mg twice a day and it is prophylactic. Thanks for the correction.
