Do you think that this day-to-day shorting of the DIMEQ could be positions used by the MMs and others in the normal course of business to keep the pps from moving upward?
Is there any type of dynamic where that might be useful to other deep-pocketed investors? A sort of "controlled ascent" so to speak.
I'm don't typically suspect MMs of nefarious games, but are there instances when it's in the best interest of the market to keep an issue like DIMEQ from jumping all over the place by balancing things out with rolling short positions? I'm not familiar enough with day-to-day trading to ascertain if there are situations like this.
