You could kinda see why the analysts are favoring ARM though. As of now, ARM has all the advantage(not talking about desktops and laptops, just tablets and smartphones).
Right now, Atom is very underwhelming. Sure, the TDP of Lincroft is quite impressive considering its same generation, but its yet to be unveiled, and it was announced almost a year ago, with products that were supposed to arrive last year.
With current projections of Medfield products arriving late this year, the chip is guaranteed to be full one generation behind in process technology compared to Intel's bleeding edge tech. There's no process advantage here at all.
