I really hate the biotech sector. Blue chips like cat, gpc, jci,are the only way to go.

Now for the obvious question: Why are you here?

Don't forget about the other blue chips--AIG, Citibank, Lehman, Smith Barney, GM, Chrysler, Fannie, Enron...just to name a few. Speaking of Enron, you hear about Skilling's 20 yr old son possibly committing suicide/OD'ing on prescription med's? Wonder if his dad's exploits put some undue emotional/psychological strain on him? Didn't Madoff's son take his life recently also? Sorry, I digress...

I'll bet I could name quite a few explosive biotechs at the other end of the spectrum also. My point is: You can't always generalize in these situations, this debacle goes far beyond simplifying it as the biotech sector; there are many, many biotech's that, while not multi-baggers, are not nearly as dismal either--especially when presented with reasonably good study data...

Ps. You know who else hasn't given up? Stoll and Varney. One thing I've learned in life--and I'm a fighter--sometimes it makes good sense to give up. That time has come for mgnmnt.

Sparks, I wonder how many of us would be millionaires if the sp reached $5? I would be. That's the one beneficial aspect of the sp being so low.
