I think the all around evidence makes it quite obvious Italfarmaco is involved in T-enox and that DD's assertion is anything but a strech.

1) we know TEVA has an outside partner to a signficant degree on t-enox

2) Italfarmaco's Licensing Director assumed her position in 2001 (2 years before the ANDA was filed), after working at TEVA for 8 years with the most recent title being New Project & Technologies manager

3) The comment regarding Italy in the MNTA case document

And since DD's source has been completely accurate thus far, I see no reason to doubt his source's Lupenox claim.

Pretty much agree here. There is some possibility that some of the expertise came from sources other than ItalFarmaco, but ItalFarmaco is doing the commercial manufacture. I seem to remember a Teva executive as being quoted that Teva was "happy with their partner." Singular. But I don't know if that's an exact quote, or if the concept that Teva has only one partner on the project should be read into it. This, together with the documents from Italy, does increase the odds in favor of Momenta, IMO.
