Hmm.... the price of a stock is usually not only a reflection of current profits, but also of forcast future profits (see GOOG). In this case, we forcast that Strat will be pumping oil at some point in the future and that it will benefit from higher oil prices ... thus sprl share price should be linked to the price of oil.
