JLS - I think you have nailed him. I roam a couple of excellent sites and he must look at many of the same ones. I often see their work showing up in his post with never a tip of the hat. I always think it is funny when his followers give him kudos and credit. I can almost see him meekly smiling, looking over the top of his glasses and saying, "Aw shucks guys, I am just trying to help."
Then there are those who just praise each other with, "Oh, you are so wonderful." It reminds of a group of self proclaimed experts recognizing each other and calling each other recognized experts. If you will recognize me, I will recognize you, OK?
I learned a long time ago that some recognized experts are idiots.
Another thing that bugs me is traders who say they are just interested in making a "modest" profit. I have to say that I have never been interested in making a "modest" profit. I would much rather make an immodest, outrageous profit any day. I guess it has to do with where you set your goals. As Dirty Harry said, "It is good for a man to know his own limitations."
Another thing that I have found interesting is how quickly a "you're wonderful, I'm wonderful, sweet and sugary, I just love everybody" guy can turn into a screaming, cursing maniac when questioned.
