Biochemist, I agree that we do not know why there has been such a long delay in the actual Rusty Ridge Drill Results. I see nothing to be gained by speculation on the reasons for the delay at this point. It simply is what it is.
If the last PR was correct about the projected timeline, then we should hear something this coming week about the RR Hole #2 drill results. I hope we do get the results this week. Either the results are good and we see a positive effect on the share price, or the results are mediocre and we simply hover around the current share price, or the results are poor and the share price falls somewhat.
The thing to remember is that share prices will fluctuate based on news, potential for gain and shareholder interest. The thing to remember about KATX is that we do have other irons in the fire regarding potential for mineral properties. The share price will be pushed up or down by more plans and more news on future prospecting or drilling and results. Junior mining plays are considered a risky investments and they normally take more than a little time to develop, if they ever do.
What matters is what is in the ground that is proved up and minable. The upcoming results will help clarify what is in one shallow 5 or 6 inch wide drill hole that is 300 plus meters deep at a very large (I believe 67 square miles) Rusty Ridge claim site. If the drill hole comes up with little info, it does not mean there is nothing in the ground. It means there was nothing in the ground in the one or two small spots we drilled. We will have one more piece to this KATX investment puzzle and we will be one step closer to knowing if we invested wisely in the short term. People will buy or sell on short term potential for gain or loss. Others will invest long term and hope they are guessing correctly. Some folks are only concerned about the results of just this one drill hole. Others are willing to wait for results on further drilling programs on other KATX properties.
People do get weary of the hype, the bashing, the claims of scams and the "to the moon" cheerleading. What we need are facts we can rely upon. I very much hope we get some facts about this latest RR Hole #2. I hope the results are positive. I plan to quietly wait to read the PR I hope we get this week.
