No. There have been boom times in the past too where the labs were temporarily choked. But now too there are more labs. So turn-around times stay about the same. Except in busy times you can still expect a turn-around time of about 10 days. No I did not underestimate claim staking costs. According to what was just posted it costs $10 in Newfoundland. ( $9 in B.C. ). The extra $50 is a refundable environmental fee if you drop out after a year or two. B.C. claims are now called ' cells ' and are 20 hectares in size. In Newfie the claims are 25 hectares in area.
