MNTA/TEVA/MYL—Do today's events in any way predict when the Markman decision might be rendered?

I don’t think what is said at today’s hearing predicts the timing of the Markman ruling, but today’s hearing is presumably, in large part, what has caused the Judge to defer the ruling for a full year.

Will today's proceedings be open to the public/ reported?

it should be public, and likely some analysts will attend. leerink last year came out with a note after the markman hearing (see RMF)
as for timing generally judge rules on claims construction within a few weeks - so should definitely be a feb or march event
