I think the push through .10, .11, .12 could come from a variety of things.
1. The move could be news-driven. Most of us here know what the company has planned, but some people won't pull the trigger to buy until they see it in black and white.
2. Charts matter - it may seem silly to someone with that old philosophy of buying and holding based on fundamentals, but the reality is that someone who might not be willing to buy today .09 will be willing to buy at .13 after they are convinced the stock has pushed through resistance. In today's electronic world of pulling up a chart with dozens of indicators with the click of the mouse, people sometimes tend to overanalyze the short-term without thinking about the long-term.
3. Company buyback - this could be accompanied with news, or it may just start to happen. Anything that adds trading volume (assuming that is how it is done) is good. Low volume is one of the things that is a turn off to some. Getting consistent daily volume would help draw more interest.
Just a few thoughts.
