So very sorry, my friend. I't always tough to lose a friend. Lost mine many years ago. Didn't have the heart to replace her. She was a cute little beagle, just 13 years old. will always remember her. Once again, sorry for your loss..........
a dog is a good friend and now he's in dog's heaven. I had twice the situation, once due to a traffic accident and once due to infirmity. It's always hard to loose a friend.
MY DEEPEST SYMPATHIES--THE EMOTIONS INVOLVED WITH LOVING OUR PETS IS BEYOND WORDS. IT'S MY BELIEF THAT THE HEAVENS ARE NOT SEPARATE FOR HUMANS AND PETS. YOU WILL SEE ROCKIE AGAIN.
I'm so sorry, I had the same last year witb my 7 year old black lab.. After spending $3000 in the intensive car with blood transfusions etc, the vet called it a day.
I'm sure he was greatly loved and both of you had precious moments together.
We have a plaque in our home that reads "The more I meet people, the more I like my dog". Me, and my male German Shorthair Pointer, join in your grief. Good luck to you.
Thanks for the reply Oil. I don't have PM as I am an unemployed dude. Unfortunately my 6 year old "Boy" will never be a dad. I appreciate the thought however.
Oilstrike ... so very sorry to hear about your little pal. It is one of the hardest things to deal with when we get so attached. I lost my little one last April after a year long battle with cancer. She was almost 14 and had been my constant companion.
It's just so easy to let them become such a focal point in your life! You did all you could for Rockie but, sadly, there are times they just can't tell us what's wrong until it's too late.
Oil I feel you pain just lost my best friend of ten years 11-02-10. So I truley get it. The good news is Rockie was in your arms, I held Gia for the last four hours of her life. I can tell you there were a lot of tears the first month but it gets better i'm down to about once a week now.and it seems to be now. So take care it does get better. Good luck
